Stripping Aussies an 'embarrassment'

Malaysian race officials are angry at nine Australians who stripped down to briefs after Aussie Daniel Ricciardo won the Sepang Formula 1 Grand Prix.

A group of Australians arrested in Malaysia after stripping down to their underwear at a Formula 1 track deserve to be locked up, a race official says.

The nine men bared briefs sporting the Malaysia flag after Australian Daniel Ricciardo took out the Sepang Formula 1 Grand Prix.

"This shows a huge lack of respect to us as Malaysians; this is stupid behaviour from foreigners who have no sense of cultural sensitivity and respect," Sepang International Circuit chief Datuk Razlan Razali told the New Straits Times.
