Taiwanese students challenge Norway government to stop labeling them as "Chinese"

A group of Taiwanese students, whose visa has been labeled as Chinese plans to sue Norway Government in court.

Joseph, a Taiwanese legal student in Norway, formed a student group and urged the government to respect their identity as Taiwanese rather than Chinese.

He claims that labeling nationality as "Chinese" on their visa is a breach of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, to which Norway is a signatory. 

Meanwhile, Norway authority remains its stand on "One China Policy".
