Giant panda Da Mao has been caught playing in the snow again, this time with a new “friend”.

Toronto Zoo’s “Giant Panda Cam” has recorded a video of him playing with a snowman that zoo staff had built specially for him.

After first scratching at the figure, Da Mao then clambers on top of the snowman before falling off – and taking the head with him.

Undeterred, he continues to climb back onto the snowman several more times and slide off, rolling around in the snow.

He even appears to rest for a minute on the now headless snowman, dandling his paws.

The panda was brought from China to Canada in March 2013, and has gained fame for his snowy antics.

The video, published on Toronto Zoo's Facebook page, has already garnered close to 400,000 views.
