Britain's foreign secretary has rejected suggestions that the U-K would be willing to pay large sums to the E-U to continue trading with the bloc after Brexit.

The comments come after Britain's minister for leaving the European Union, David Davis, said that the country might be willing to pay in return for access to the single market.

Critics say leaving the single market would be an "act of self-harm".

Johnson has told the B-B-C, no decisions have been made, "I do believe that as a result of Brexit, we will be able to take back control of the money that we currently give to Brussels. And not only that, we will be able to take back control over the money that Brussels currently spends on our behalf."
