It could be on a Greek beach, scrunched at the bottom of a handbag or under a couch, but somewhere out there is a Powerball ticket worth millions of dollars.

It's been a month since the $55 million Powerball draw and the winning ticket, sold at the Scole Lotto & News agency at Brunswick, is still unclaimed.

"We've heard lots of theories, the latest one today is that it could be a Greek man who has travelled to their homeland on holiday, oblivious to the fact they could own the island they're on," Tatts spokeswoman Elissa Lewis told reporters on Thursday.
