Every Chinese New Year, around a sixth of the world's population travel home across China to celebrate with their families and friends. Now a series of memes trending on Chinese social media has imagined what it would look like if some famous faces were to join in the journey.

Chinese New Year Eve is the most important moment of the year for Chinese people. 

Chunyun, the world’s largest annual human migration, bring hundreds of millions of people to China’s roads, train stations and airports, with an official predictions indicating nearly 3 billion people will travel across the country.

A large number of them leave big cites to go to rural areas in China.

Although being frustrated with the difficulty to get tickets, rush hours and mass congestion, the joy of going home and starting a week long national public holiday excite Chinese people.

Among them, an influential movie lover and joke writer on Sina Weibo, @qonghongzaolegebai who recently posted a series of creative memes, which went viral on Chinese social media:
