At the beginning of the new year, the Hong Kong government has announced that it will officially terminate the analogue television services on November 30, 2020, and will fully enter the digital terrestrial broadcasting generation from December 1.

According to the Government figures, the digital terrestrial television service has covered at least 99% of the population in Hong Kong today.

It is estimated about 180 000 households in Hong Kong using analogue television will be affected.
