Australia's unemployment rate rise and job summit

Australia's unemployment rate dipped again.

Leaders and experts from business, industry, unions and education will meet with the federal Labor party for a summit in Canberra today to discuss solutions for the nation's jobs and skills challenges. Figures out yesterday show the unemployment rate has jumped to 5.9 per cent, and the number of people underemployed and looking for extra work has risen to a record high.
