Budget reactions

The federal budget has been handed down to a mixed reaction from a range of different sectors across the Australian economy and society. Happy with the budget, broadly speaking, are business groups, farmers and the Australian Tax Office, which gets a bright new taskforce to tackle tax dodgers. The government is keen to present small business as one of the big "winners" of the 2016 budget.
