The ThunderGo program was first proposed by associate professor at Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong, Benny Tai Yiu-ting, also the Occupy Central co-founder, in February 2016. The goal is to secure a half-seat in the 2016 Hong Kong Legislative Council Election. Some 40,000 voters cast their ballots in the polls, leading to the election of some pan-democrats and indigenous factions, despite doubts about the end result. Ivan and Selina is going to interview Benny and CivicData spokesman Mr. Angus Chiu and he will explain the process and the ups and downs of installing the Vote allocation method in Hong Kong politic for the first time.
