One of them was the detaining of nine Singaporean armored vehicles by Hong Kongs Customs from last November, which lasted for nearly two months, has yet to be resolved. The other one was the death of the British war correspondent Clare Hollingworth, at the age of 105, in Hong Kong. She was the reporter who broke the news of the Nazi invasion of Poland that marked the beginning of World War II. On top of that, the Chinese Ministry of Education had ordered all the curriculum materials of primary and secondary schools in China need to change the number of years that Chinese had fought for during the war from eight years to fourteen years and that had aroused concerns.
