Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Russian Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko here on Wednesday and said he watched the world cup games everyday. Meanwhile, Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam told the press on Tuesday that she thought to answer a question in English was a waste of time, after she had already given an answer in Cantonese.
