Markets didn’t fare well yesterday mainly because China’s December industrial profit shrank, confirming once again the negative impact of US & China trade disputes. At the same time, heavy US industry giant Caterpillar and big chip maker Nividia reported either missing their quarterly earning target or had to reduce it.

As a result, global markets questioned again whether the upbeat assessment and rebound in early January had any ground at all.

Shanghai markets shed a few points but both the European and US markets tumbled, mainly because they had had a great ride since early January. Therefore correction is very much expected.

Turning back to Australia, we have broadcast 2 series on the challenge facing the property markets these days, and we have again invited senior real estate agent, Daniel Cheng to answer listener’s question about different ways to sell their property when market sentiment looked grim.
