Seven Indigenous Anmatyerr women from central Australia and six Kam women from south-west China will perform traditional songs connected to their distinctive homelands in a vibrant public performance on 12 April. Selina Kong has interviewed two Kam women who will participate in the performance and the organiser, Ms Catherine Ingram, who has spent over three years with these ladies in China and who is also the first non-Chinese who studied their music.
