Insurance entities are this week facing scrutiny in the sixth round of the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry. Independent life insurer ClearView Wealth took the stand first, admits it committed criminal offences by making 300,000 unsolicited cold calls to sell life insurance, as part of aggressive tactics designed to get as many sales as possible.
