This week, on the heels of the ASEAN* ((AH-see-ahn)) summit in Singapore, world leaders are descending on Papua New Guinea for another gathering, the APEC, ((AY-pek)) or Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, summit. It will be Papua New Guinea's first time hosting the major global event, and the lead-up has not been free of controversy. Many of the smaller Pacific nations, such as the host country, will be the focus of the summit, with some of the major world powers planning to strike deals. Ivan and Selina report.
