Australia is studying the details of United States President Donald Trump's new tariffs order to see if it will be able to avoid the steel and aluminium tariffs. Mr Trump did not specifically name Australia at a signing ceremony at the White House .But he earlier indicated it may side-step America's 25 per cent tariffs on steel imported into the U-S and 10 per cent on aluminium. And Australian businesses are being encouraged to tap into the booming daigou industry, where buyers purchase popular products like vitamins or baby formula and send them to China.
