Michelia is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the Magnolia family. Magnolia figo (also called banana shrub) is an evergreen tree growing to 3-4 metres tall. It is native to China. Horticulturist, Mr. Solomon Tsoi, shares a beautiful poem about Michelia.
