Global markets fared pretty lackluster in the Asian Pacific region as geopolitical factor emerged to dominate market sentiments. Western corporates said to boycott Saudi business, which led to Saudi threatened to match any sanctions from the West. Risk aversion dominated the markets and Japanese Yen was pushed to new high leading Nikkei to plunge 423 points. And ASX 200 hit 6 months low as sell off continued. Whereas US Stocks was under heavy selling pressure from technology stocks and fell 89 points eventually. Considering investors flocked to US consumer stable, we ask the question what the prospect of the Australian consumer stable, and how is t likely to fare in the near future.
