Global Finance: Italian Bank was hit after Brexit

Brexit referendum victimized Italys banking system. As Italian banks have about $540 billion of non-performing loans and a desperate need for new capital, would it bring in greater impact in European financial sector and cause bigger trouble, e.g. another global financial crisis? Would it affect our banking system in Australia?
