The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) published a consultative document on the Basel III Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) in 2014. It requires banks to maintain a stable funding profile in relation to the composition of their assets and off-balance sheet activities. In an interview with Ivan, Morgans' senior analyst Brian Pun is going to explain why NRSF comes into the spotlight and why Australian banks need to comply with it.
