The federal government says it has not ruled in-or-out any changes to Australia's taxation system, including the Goods and Services Tax. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says the federal government is committed to tax reform, despite being personally unconvinced on the merits of increasing the G-S-T to 15 per cent. Meanshile, the federal government has announced funding for two existing programs, Malcolm Turnbull said the idea is to inspire the next generation of Australian scientific geniuses.
