GST Carve-up change years away

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced that the Government was considering to flag changes to the GST distribution at the General Assembly of the Western Australia Division of the Liberal Party last month. In a letter to Tasmanian backbencher Eric Abetz, Mr Turnbull confirmed that such reforms would not be implemented within a short period of time. Cho-wai Cheung has the details.
