Hong Kong to debate plans to tackle influenza outbreak

The winter influenza outbreak in Hong Kong has led to increasing number of fatality this year. Kindergartens were closed, the high risk groups were told to receive vaccination as soon as possible, and hospital beds were in shortage.


All these have triggered a policy debate in the Government. And all eyes on the Government as to what sorts of short term and long term measures to tackle this issue.
