British Prime Minister Theresa May is standing by her proposed deal for Britain to exit the European Union, despite widespread and intense opposition.


British Prime Minister Theresa May is standing by her proposed deal for Britain to exit the European Union, despite widespread and intense opposition.

However, four members of Ms May's ministry have resigned after the unveiling of the draft deal to leave the European Union, despite it passing cabinet. Ms May says if her deal is not approved, it will go against the will of the British people.

Also, May's opponents within the British Conservative Party claim she could be removed as Prime Minister within weeks. Selina Kong and Ivan Leung report.
