United States authorities remain baffled as to why the Las Vegas gunman opened fire on an outdoor music concert, killing at least 59 people and injuring more than 520. President Donald Trump says Stephen Paddock was "a very sick individual", but declined to call his actions domestic terrorism. Meanwhile, Australian Federal Government is renewing a push for suspected terrorists to be detained for a fortnight without charge.
