Monument to be revealed in memory of the Chinese victims during the 1851 Gold Rush

During the Australian Gold Rush in 1851, thousands of Chinese gold miners were killed in series of riots due to conflict of interest and cultural difference. A monument is established and will be revealed on October 9 at Rookwood Cemetery in memory of these victims. Winmas Yu interviewed Mr. David Chen, the President of the Australian Chinese Workers Association.
