The Federal Government has unveiled new anti-terrorism laws that would make it easier to strip convicted terrorists of their citizenship. Selina Kong and Ivan Leung report.


The Prime Minister is proposing new laws to make it easier to strip Australian citizenship from anyone convicted of terrorism offences.

Currently, citizenship can only be taken from those sentenced to at least six years in jail.

But Scott Morrison wants to extend that to anyone convicted of terrorism offences.
