The nomination period for the 2016 Election Committee (EC) Subsector Ordinary Elections will run from November 8 (Tuesday) until today (Monday).The Returning Officers (except religious subsector) for the 2016 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections received a total of 106 nomination forms on November 12. This brings to 1,418 the total number of nomination forms received since nominations opened on November 8.Chief executive candidates will have to pass a nomination threshold by securing the support of no less than 150 members of the 1,200-strong Election Committee - who will, in the actual vote, pick Hong Kongs next leader.
