Fire authorities are assessing the extent of property damage as almost 80 bushfires continue to burn across New South Wales. Emergency warnings remained in place for blazes near Mudgee and Dondingalong. The fire danger will remain very high today in the Greater Hunter and surrounding fire areas although the extreme or catastrophic conditions have eased. Selina Kong and Winmas Yu report.
