Spinach is famous for giving Popeye his bulging muscles. It could be an exaggeration but no doubt it is a nutritional powerhouse. It has rich nutritional value. It is an excellent source of vitamins A and C, and antioxidants. It’s also rich in B group vitamins like protein and magnesium. Spinach grows best in a cool climate as in warm areas late late summer. It is best to grow in full to part sun and in soil rich in nitrogen. Our horticultural expert, Solomon Choi would give us some tips on planting spinach.
