Melbourne Writers Festival was held from 26 August till 4 September. May Hu interviews Xi Xu from Hong Kong, Fan Dai from Guangzhou China and talk about their books and the Festival experience.The Festival also runs My Melbourne storytelling competition. Five international students from China, Colombia, Brazil and Malaysia were winners of the competition, which asked students from around the world to reflect on their time and experience by creating and sharing their stories in both written and visual forms.
