Nationals M-P George Christensen voted with the opposition in the lower house last night, to stop cuts to penalty rates. But his move was ultimately unsucessful, with the bill being defeated by one vote 73 to 72. On the other hand, The New South Wales government says it's making the biggest investment in education infrastructure in the state's history in its budget.
