A new report from Deloitte Access Economics, commissioned by Victoria's start-up agency LaunchVic, says start-ups will continue to create thousands of high-skilled jobs.

Another report-coming from policy advisory and research firm Startup Genome, however, has estimated that the global start-up economy created $2.8 trillion in market value between 2016 and 2018, but that value is declining since then.

Could start-ups be the next remedy on our declining economy? Is the Australian Government or businesses ready to take up the challenge to promote local start-ups business in the near future?

Ivan has invited Dr. Wei Li from Sydney University Business school to tell us more.
