ABC 引述貢斯基所做的 “Growing Up Digital Australia" 全國研究表示,雖然數碼科技有其好處,但是兒童接觸屏幕時間太多,影響到他們的識字和創作力,對他們日後尋找工作會造成障礙。


聯邦教育部長鄧肯更呼籲澳洲其他州分跟隨維州和西澳的做法,禁止州立學校的學生,在課堂裏使用手機。
