Small parties and Independents --Winners in this election?

With the vote counting to be continued tomorrow, Australia is facing the prospect of a hung parliament. The Greens are expected to retain one seat, the Nick Xenophon Team will pick up one seat and three independents are likely to be elected. Why do voters desert the major parties and go for small parties and independents? Will the independents hold a balance in the parliament? Chowai Cheung reports.
