A study has indicated a daily low dose of aspirin will not help you live longer or prevent your first heart attack, in fact a study shows it will not only increase the risk of bleeding in older people, And yet another study has found that Helicobacter pylori infection could increase the risk of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in low dose aspirin users, Ivan has invited the lead researcher Dr. Justin Ng from Mornington Community Health of Peninsula Health to tell us more about their finding. Meanwhile, Ivan has also invited Dr. Albert Kwok from RNSH geriatric ward to help us to look into why daily aspirin intake has become popular in Australian seniors’ group. He will also help us to understand what the good and bad effect on using aspirin.
