Prime Minister Scott Morrison has foreshadowed cuts to Australia's migration intake, saying the major cities have become victims of their own success.
Sparking a new population debate, Mr Morrison says he wants the states and territories to give him answers on just how many people they can handle. However, some analysts warn migration cuts will only worsen labour shortages.
