The federal government will take a leaf out of new Zealnd's book in a bid, it says, to break the cycle of welfare dependency. Social Services Minister Christian Porter has announced a package of almost $100-million dollars to allow groups to apply for and use to develop programs to help get people off government payments. Ivan, Alex, Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Pho from Salvation Army and our audience has share their opinion of whether this new social security measurement is a fair policy.
