The Great Walk - from Robe to Ballarat 160th anniversary

To commemorate the 160th anniversary of the Walk from Robe, the CCCA (Chinese Community Council of Australia ) will take a team of walkers on a journey from Robe to Ballarat and then finish at the Parliament of Victoria. The walk will take place over 20 days in May 2017, along a route of over 500 kilometres finishing at Parliament House, Melbourne. Walkers will go through townships of historical significance, see many heritage sites, meet decedents of Chinese goldminers. Aaron interviews Hon Robin Scott, Minister for Multicultural Affairs (Victoria), Mr Chin Tan, President of the CCCAV, and Ms Marion Lau, Member of the CCCAV Advisory Council regarding this program of events.
