A landmark British inquiry has given a scathing assessment of former Prime Minister Tony Blair's decision to join the United States-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. It found that Britain's military involvement was not a last resort, that the legal basis was far from satisfactory and planning for the aftermath of war was wholly inadequate. As Ivan and Selina report, the release of the more than 2.5-million-word report comes 13 years after the Western intervention in Iraq - a conflict Australia also took part in.
