Turnbull and Shorten down in Tasmania to inspect flooded areas

The leaders of both major parties have stepped off the campaign trail, this time to inspect flood-inundated areas of Tasmania yesterday. Today, Mr Turnbull will deliver a speech to the Liberal thinktank, the Menzies Research Centre.while Mr Shorten will reveal new cuts and support for government savings, in a bid to improve Labor's reputation on handling the economy and repair the budget.
