Global markets largely returned to the black as US holiday sales on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday were overwhelming.


As a result, supports for the retail sector and the FANNG group returned, coupled by the rebound of oil future. Dow Jones recorded the best trading days in 2 weeks.

Across the Atlantic, Italian Government signaled intention to wind down its deficit budget and  EU passed the Brexit final deal in just half an hour. All helped to lift Europe’s market sentiment.

Whereas Hong Kong has put up a good show yesterday, resulted in big gain but volume remained thin.

There are speculations that US Fed is not likely to follow through its original rate hike schedule. Will that likely be the case? How likely would US Fed follow through its original rate hike schedule?
