Former Victoria Premier John Brumby participated in China International Import Expo this year, and explained why Victoria is so keen to establish a close relationship with China.


John Brumby, former Premier of Victoria and now the president of Australia China Business Council, said Victoria has been establishing a close relationships with China since 1979. 


He also said the 'Belt and Road' initiative Daniel Andrews signed last year was no different to the Memorandum of Understanding Steven Ciobo signed with China in May.
