Latest report has it that the number of students learning second language are gradually dropping across the country. This is contrary to OECD's figure that students in most member countries graduate with one or two foreign languages.
Having said that Victoria has a growing number of students studying second language. What makes it so special to Victoria?
Area Manager of Victoria School of Language, run by Victorian State Education Department, Kerry Law explains it has to do with Government funding support and number of foreign languages offer to students.
