Xi consolidating power as China holds five-yearly congress

China's Communist Party has agreed to amend its constitution and is expected to embed President Xi Jinping's (shee jin-PING's) political thought at its key party congress this week. China's propaganda machine has gone into action to celebrate the achievements of President Xi's first term in office.
