Farewell to Aunty Liza

Elizabeta Toplek was a well known Croatian singer of traditional folk songs from the region of Međimurje. Elizabeta, from the village of Donja Dubrava in Međimurje, was given the name Aunty Liza by children from the local school where she worked as a cook for many years. During her later years she recorded three awarded CD-s of Croatian traditional songs and had numerous public , radio and TV appearances.
