Government shifts Crown allegations to integrity watchdog

Crown has denied allegations it engaged in criminal activity including money-laundering, saying it's facing a deceitful campaign.

The Federal Government will refer allegations of corruption and misconduct by Crown Casino to the Australian Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity. Attorney General Christian Porter has asked the national integrity watchdog to investigate a number of claims which implicate some Government M-Ps. But critics have accused the Government of a cover up as both the Coalition and Opposition voted against a parliamentary inquiry into the matter.
