Love at first sight and forever

While visiting relatives on a neighboring island in 1955, Marija Raljević (nee Pekić), then a 16-year old young girl from the small Croatian island of Iž was introduced to 23-year old Kruno Raljević by her aunt. And it was love at first sight. However, there were many obstacles to cross before they could be together, including an ocean.
