New magazine remembers a 'Beloved Syria'

Many of the 10,000 Syrian and Iraqi refugees who have settled in Australia in recent years report feelings of isolation and loneliness. But one recent arrival has taken matters into her own hands, starting a magazine aimed both at connecting those who have fled their war-ravaged homelands and at educating Australians.
